Held on June 21st and 22nd at Buva House in Nungambakkam, Chennai, Outside the line 2019 was a captivating exhibition that showcased the work of 27 talented students. Featuring over 125 artworks, the event delved into the intricate depths of the human mind, offering viewers a unique glimpse into the creative visions of these young artists.

The exhibition's central theme, "THE MIND," served as a catalyst for exploring the multifaceted nature of human thought and emotion. Each participating artist presented a body of work that reflected their personal interpretation of the mind's various dimensions, from its conscious and subconscious realms to its intricate interplay with emotions and experiences. Through their art, these students invited viewers to embark on a journey of self-discovery and introspection.

Beyond the visual arts, the event also featured a dynamic performance by Aasha Sriram and Akshay Yesodharan, a renowned jazz singer-songwriter and guitarist-singer duo. In addition to the exhibition and musical performance, "The Lines 2019" also included a parkour circle, showcasing the art of movement and physical expression. This interactive element further enhanced the event's immersive nature, allowing attendees to engage with the art in a more active and dynamic way.
